But I do say that there's really no place like Oregon, with the Pacific ocean on one side and the Cascade mountains on the other, huge stands of Douglas fir to high desert all across the state. When I grew up here there was a drag strip on one side of the street and an asphalt circle track on the other about a half mile out of town, those were the days!!
