273 Pie Tins?

Whereas these look great, I'm looking for unrestored examples of Commando air cleaners with the nipple to show where the factory put it.

This is a 67 A-Body 383 and the nipple is towards the rear.

Yes, but on early A-body cars with V8 it was to tight to have the nipple towards the brake cylinder. You had the kick-down linkage, the power brake booster, the bulkhead connector and the spark plug wire so it was too tight. My wagon was unrestered as well as my latest Dart Charger and they all had it that way. B-bodies had much more to have the nipple on the backside.
On 273 Commando and the 273 Charger you can also see the way the decal was glued to the lid.
