Has anyone here seen a commercially manufactured e core coil bracket for a small block? I am doing the HEI conversion, and I have a Mallory E core coil. I don't see any easy way to mount the coil, so I was hoping that someone here either knew of a bracket that will work, or can give me some ideas about how to make one myself.

Thanks!

Thanks for the quick reply. That looks functional, I just don't have any kind of flat stock laying around. I will have to do some scrounging around.

The $20 Chinese e-core coil I bought on ebay came with a bracket, and looks like the Pertronix one linked. Might even come from the same factory for $64 less w/o the Pertronix label. But surely Pertronix wouldn't do that. I also took an e-core coil w/ brackets and connector off a Magnum V-8 engine. It mounts to the front aluminum serpentine brackets on a Magnum, so you would need to reposition it on an old Mopar. I haven't installed it.
