They were all built by Chrysler Corporation.

Norman Kraus will beg to differ. He was the first to do it, showed it to Chrysler to let them know it COULD be done and Chrysler followed suit.

I’d say he showed they could be sold. Norm Kraus is a salesman.

Honestly, selling them is harder than building them.

In 1968 Chrysler designed Hemi Darts and Barracudas. And built a prototype/mule. Much harder and complex then M-code 69 A-bodies.

Well "however" they got done I am glad they did. I'll never be able to own one, but they are mega cool.

Hey dave can you give me a call at 515 829 9939, I am still needing some info on m code block , Rick is telling me it's a restamp

Who is Rick? Is that your potential buyer? Of course he's tellin you it's a restamp. Don't fall for that bullshit. I think it's legit from everything I've seen.

I will also ask who Rick is. You have three verified experts on the subject in this thread telling you that the stamping is correct.

I'd love to just be able to buy a 69 cuda M code block!!:usflag:

I have 1 but the numbers have been ground off of it. The guy did that cause the car had been wrecked and then crushed. But b4 it was crushed the dash was stolen out of it. He didn’t want someone to re create it.

Damn, well at least you have the block.

Yes guys, Rick is potential buyer, I am not positive of last name so I wont say it.. but honestly think he is trying to confuse me or play me.. I dislike dishonest car guys......it runs the sacred bond

Yeah well you've done your due diligence and now he can pay or walk.

Exactly. He may be honestly mistaken or he is trying to cut you down on price. Either way, you have the original engine and he should pay accordingly...or walk...

I can see a guy being paranoid. But he may be wanting to flip it. So the less he has to pay u the more he can make. Tell him this is ur price. Talk the talk or walk the walk. It makes no difference to u. Kim

Here is a freshly machined M code block. From a notchback. I'm not posting the vin stamp because this is a customer's block. I will say that the stamping looks proper and only 8 characters. This stands to reason by looking at the build date on the pad. I'm NO expert on these cars. Know just enough to be ignorant. Hopefully these pics help in some way.

Of course he is. Tell him to pound sand. You have something that's valuable. Though it's a small market, you'll get it sold to someone who knows what it is.
