What did you have for dinner?

Your closer to the water than me Terry I bet you guys got some good fish there.

Not close enough for good fish unfortunately. My wife buys all our fish fresh at Kroger. Not sure how fresh it really is though, lol.

I love fish. Its light and doesn't give you that heavy gut feeling. (I say that as I'm sitting here eating a burger. But its really tasty!!)

View attachment 1715639533 all this talk about food made me want to make something better than Taco Bell. So Sea Bass and yea you can see.
I need to figure a better way to cook fish I been using butter, lemon juice, garlic, Italian seasoning and salt and pepper and did it on the BBQ grill at 350* but not all that great just OK.

The key to great fish is freshness. Since you live where you do, I'd try for fresh walleye. I cook fish in a Weber Kettle with mesquite charcoal. I make an aluminum foil "tray" and melt a bit of butter and lightly salt the fillets on both sides. Cook fillets till they just turn white, flip once and be ready to eat. Don't go anywhere or do anything on the side, it cooks fast.
