The little guy with the pitch fork on your left shoulder is dancing now. Lol
Good dad , you covered the kids 1st.
Now its just the wife that will leave you. Jk

Ya, looking for stock dimension rods. You guys build race motors. I'm just looking for something for a 390 stroker.
If you do buy the Speedmaster connecting rods, please let us know what you actually receive. As others stated, .984 is correct for stock style Chrysler small block wrist pins. I chickened out and did not order rods, just in case the wrong pin size arrived, like the ones in that sale add I linked.

I saw two rods, one was 927 and one was 984. They were both 6.125 length, maybe thats what the mix up was.

Yes, I saw 2 H beams. The .927's are Chevy size pins. The .984's are stock Mopar. Ya, Mopar stuff is heavy duty! LOL

Right. But did speedmaster mismark a .927 set as .984 and ship them, or are the listings backwards, or are they both .927 small end with different big ends? I was not willing to test it out, and that is why I am curious what arrives.

I have 2 ld340's and a 340 victor.
I think im good once i get the hughes fi magnum intake.

Jk

I wanna grab a dual 4
I'm thinking maybe to sell at swap meets. $135 each is pretty cheap unless they are a pile. You could probably make a hun $ on those.

I fully understand that. That could turn into..say.. a three-week ordeal of returning and getting either your money back, or the correct rods.
I'm still waiting for that replacement head but it's holidays & a sale... and so I figure it'll probably show up sometime towards the end of the week.

I just tried to add the .984 pin rods to my car and right after 12:00 pm eastern time (I am in Michigan) the Speedmaster site no longer accepts my Michigan zip code. They may be shutting down the sale by time zones. Which just saved me $200.

Oh well, I don't need any parts. It was exciting filling up the cart for a while. I am working on a retirement goal. even though I could make a few bucks turning some parts, I would be better off not spending the cash. I see they take Pay Pal. I wish I had more banked up there. Then I would buy parts I don't need.

I bought the bare heads, rods and intake, I got the stainless rockers and head studs last year. Need to find a 360 locally to build now and swap out the slant in my other 64 4spd valiant vert. Already has a 8 3/4 with 323 sure grip.

I wonder how many heads they sell during the year,,,..and then on Black FRiday...boom...lol

Get er done...

I think I'm gonna stick mine on that 5.9 magnum now while it's still in the truck runable and use it to practice my carb rebuilding and tuning. I have several carbs that iv collected that need rebuilding that would be a good mule engine to practice with. I know it runs good now with the fuel Injection.
