What Are You Doing To/With Your Car Today?
After beginning this project with my Dart in January of 2019, I began by ripping out the slant six and trans for a complete rebuild and overhaul of the drivetrain. All was going to go well until I was told the block was bad and not worth repairing. Even after obtaining a second slant six block, that was also deemed bad. And so the journey began with taking the 360 out from under the work bench and getting that completely rebuilt. Can't be that hard to swap a slant, right?
Well it only took me about a year or more to obtain all the parts and slowly put it together. Full time work and full time school really slowed me down, and still is. But finally, earlier this week I was able to make everything stop leaking, run 85-90% good, and take it for a spin!! It sure feels good to drive my Dart again. I can't wait for the weather to improve.
