OBD1 PCM interchange/compatibility, 5.2 vs 5.9

As far as idle control goes, a dirty coolant sensor connector of a crappy ground will cause idle to glitch too. Not everyone has an old scan tool or an mds to monitor whats going on. Just like setting base timing.

i dont think i would worry about a 5.9 in place of a 5.2 as far as ecm goes. Or is it sbec? Been a long time since i had to troubleshoot a 90s 318.
