What always upset me working flat-rate in the collision industry is that the lesser qualified guys got the gravy licks while the trained experienced guys got the train-wrecks for virtually the same dollar per flagged hour. The last shop I worked at had pretty qualified guys so it got spread around pretty good. You usually knew when you had one coming.
I hear ya and sucks if the boss doesn't like me.
Lucky for me I spent most of my time doing PDR work and maybe not so lucky when the boss thinks I can fix something that I can't.
