Yes and Yes. I was up for a visit and parts pick a couple months ago and he brought out the photo albums. Damn that guy owned a lot of wing cars. Probably 30+ total. And the Nash Bridges stories are great fun over a few beers. He is quite a guy!
Of all those big sellers i mentioned he was the most personable and friendly.
Back then without internet and beginnings of internet there was a big gap in West Coast to Rust Belt parts pricing. Even though I was not used to a lot of his pricing he was always gracious and easy going. Just a likable guy weather you bought his parts or not.
