When I was in the field, yes we marked our tools and equipment. There were thieves in the brotherhood.

When our oldest went to vo-tech in high school, I had him initial his tools with the dremel. He was the only kid to do so. Teacher saw it on day 2 and said he must have a very smart father and asked what was wrong with everyone else. LOL
