The owner went with all cheap Chinese parts in the engine and it was trash after a few thousand miles. The valves were mushroomed on both ends and the valve guides were loose. The guy saved a few hundred bucks first time around and now he has to do another rebuild and buy new parts. Chinese parts are junk. Buyer beware.

China will supply what you are willing to pay for... if you want the absolute cheapest valves, don't be surprised when they're made out of melted-down coat hangers. It IS possible to get good stuff offshore, just not for 10 cents on the dollar.
When I had @PRH massage my (bare) Speedmasters, including redoing the crappy valve job, I paid for better valves to go with them. Already have good Comp springs, retainers and locks.
