First shot at paint..my 66 barracuda

It's great to have someone take the time to show you the trade. I myself mentored someone. It started as a hobby for me. Then Profesional for 20 years. I could do it all. Sadly the trade pay never increased like a Mechanics had and made me bitter, sore back and knees , no 401K ect:. I changed careers at 42. Morgage and two kids in daycare. I survived. I didn't open my toolbox for 4 years. When I did it was to hobby on my own two cars and I love it as a hobby . Sounds like money isn't an issue for you and I can imagine how rewarding it is for you . Congrats! Now just make sure you take care of yourself and use your PPE. Keep the piscs coming.
My father in law was a paint and body man and I definitely saw firsthand how hard the career can be on your body. Who knows how my already aching body will hold up but my hope is to do it part time/hobby type thing that creates a little extra spending cash. Time will tell, but it sure is fun right now!
