What Are You Doing To/With Your Car Today?

Looks nice! I have very similar headlights to go in mine. Are they bright?

Here they are after being adjusted tonight.

Removing the 27 year old window tints from the 93 SC400. Its so old that it came of in 1 piece! Just a few 'glue' marks to scrape off. Rear defogger/antenna window is Sunday job. Crossing fingers it comes off as easy as the side windows.....

Floor pans, floor pans, floor pans. Down to the last one of 4 on my 69 Barracuda. I am sick of looking at them. Labor of love!

I like the brighter lights, but I can't stand the way the LED headlights themselves look (IMHO). Now, if somebody would only make some that look more or less stock... For now, my halogen Hellas are good enough.

These have a more stock look. I was originally going to get these ones, but a member on here used the ones I ended up getting of 2 cars with good results.

Best way to polish these bezels? The blue magic stuff worked ok, but Id want all these little craters gone....

Paint has been laid.

The craters are in the zinc (or whatever junk pot-metal the bezels are cast from). You can't really get rid of them without somehow stripping the nickel-chrome off and repairing the casting. Of course, then they will never look right without re-chroming. Cheaper/easier to get new repops.

Great job. Have you ever noticed all the pictures taken on the kitchen counters? Wait 1/2 the pictures I post are on my Kitchen table too. Whoops :)

I put a full nitrous bottle back in the brackets and spun down the wingnuts. Also reattached the valve connection fitting. Now I can tell I need to re-make the #4 braided line once I install that additional adapter (for the pressure gauge and pressure switch). Looks like it's going to need a roller-coaster loop :realcrazy:

Pulled my power steering pump and stared disassembly for a rebuild. Waiting for the rebuild kit to arrive. Also helping the wife paint our kitchen!

Who knew? When you order new door panels from Legendary they don't do the knock outs. This takes forever. I'm on my 2nd door panel and 4th cup of coffee.

After 6 months in the paint shop I finally have it home beginning to reassemble. This is the fun stuff.

Working down the checklist....got the alt belt on, driveshaft installed, started to put coolant in but forgot to get distilled water so off to the store tomorrow for that. Pulled dizzy and primed oil pump. Oops, had a valve cover off and it let me know pump was working just fine when I rotated engine through a couple revs. So I got that mess cleaned up.
After 14 months, will tomorrow be the day to make some noise? We'll see what else is on the checklist first.

Making a mess. Managed to get the intake slid out from under the A/C bracket. I will have to clean up the valley pan a bit and test fit the Performer intake and make sure all of the A/C support brackets line up, before I tear into it further.

Testing out my 20 dollar leaf spring helpers... well thats way to much reverse rake for me, and I have to much rubbing in the rear wells.

Maybe the kids will get you a new set of springs for Christmas!!

No, I dont know why, but my wife pretty much refuses to purchase car parts for me... I wish she would though, it would make things so much easier lol.

We have to get strawberries. My son eats a bowl of strawberries every night as his before bedtime snack.

Thanks for the offer, I will definitely take you up on that when I take the interior out next time. Its only the passenger side that is out of wack currently. Hopefully next year or the year after I can get my interior done...
