Revolutionary sight plug - almost no mess !!
I've been working on this a couple of months. New to FABO and the world !
Racers know, fuel level is
crucial for optimal performance, and needs to be checked often!
Everyone (practically everyone) knows what this is:
...and you also know what a pain it can be to adjust your float level
It's messy and somewhat of a 'long-handed' process. You sometimes wish you could grow a third arm and hand, and you never drop the plug when you're in a hurry ! (wink wink)
Better have a rag ready, cause it's gonna get EVERYWHERE! Gas is hard on paint too. Not to mention, it stains ! And if you drop the plug, you're screaming for someone to shut off the pump or your engine, cause you're plugging the sight hole with your finger.
The clear sight plugs are cool, but far from permanent, and end up looking like this !:
Yellowed and in 2 pieces !
Do I smell gas ?! Not much of a return, at $16/pair..
The solution? EzSite™
length does not interfere with the float.
the EzSite™ plug always stays in, so there's never the risk of dropping it, or making the dreaded mess on that brand new manifold or paint job. It uses a Std Holley seal and it is Fast and Safe.
I sent a set to
@yellow rose , and he was delighted with it's ease of use and simplicity.
"The design is brilliant. The work is beautiful. The concept is outstanding."
And when
@yellow rose gave them a try...
"....and when you think about it, how hard should one jounce the fender to get the fuel to slosh out? That's pretty subjective. And who defines what a “trickle” is? Again, very subjective.
Your plugs eliminate all that crap. Where the notch is, the fuel is.
In the end, I can’t find a thing wrong with these. They look good on paper, they look great in your hand, and they work perfect in the field."
1 Turn plug out 3 turns
2 Rotate plug/indicator to desired level
3 Adjust float level - when fuel spills from hole, you're done !
4 Retighten plug
* Easy to confirm level (by simply loosening plug and turning out to expose the bleed hole. fuel will spill when hole is at fuel level.)
Your allen wrench stays in the plug, so there's no risk of it sliding down your fender and landing exactly in the middle of the car.
The days of scrambling around in the pits for a new seal and plug ARE OVER!
And unlike the clear plastic sight plugs (not intended for extended use), they're permanent!
Not only that, they're transferable to whatever carb you're using !
They're $20/pair, $30/6-Bbls(3) add $5 for shipping and PP fees
(multiples will be shipped for the same cost to single address)
