Chrysler Classic done

Sad to see it happen on the East Coast.
The last few years of MoPars at The Strip I noticed that more modern machinery was showing up in greater numbers to race while the number of older muscle participating in the race events seemed to dwindle. It’s just my opinion but it seemed that more people were putting their money on a ScatPack or Hellcat instead of putting it into an old B or E body.
Any other opinions/observations?

can only speak to Monster Mopar and Holley Moparty. I race at both.
My take is the older car numbers are pretty constant, the modern stuff is on a huge uptick.
To me, that is a good tell for the health of the sport. The newer cars have introduced more people into these events.
The last time Monster Mopar was run( year ago last summer) had the biggest car count racing wise ever...somewhere close to 600 cars.
