Chrysler Classic done

Without question where I am located is a great spot for Drag racing. VMP is a saved facility (Thank you Tommy Franklin) and since you are into Bracket racing Richmond is actually the hidden gem. The owner has a consistent track and they drag a great number for the big races. Short shut down so if you send anything over 160 in the 1/4" better make some plans quick.

I work with a guy who is a track official at Richmond. It's been a tough year for all racers however we both believe the ones who stick out the Covid situation will prosper in 2021. People want to race. I am sure you do to so keep going with you program man... 2021 will be alot better...

Things are bad here in N.J. .. we lost Englishtown a few years ago which really hurt and now theres a strong possibilty that Atco will be the next to go. Luckily my local track ( Island Dragway ) 1/2 hour from my house is open, they had a tough year no question about it and got a few covid related citations but they survived. I still believe people want to race maybe not as many as before but there are still plenty who do. Islands test and tunes are packed which is good and the weekly Summit Series Points car counts are ok. I don't really do big money races but they seem to be doing ok, I know Maple Groves " Door Wars " was well attended as well as their Sportsman Nationals index race which I did attend , I went to Cecil County in Maryland last month for their final index race and friday night test and tune and they also were well attended. So there is hope it still saddens me to see any track close though.
