galen govier

I actually met Galen around November 2006, when we delivered a sold fastback to Hollywood, CA. We picked up a 69 M Code Dart that Galen was looking over. After we loaded it up he invited all of us to Goldberg's ranch house. It was the coolest thing! He lives just north of San Diego, CA. Goldberg wasn't expecting so many people, but he was super cool. He autographed his book for all of us and gave us a tour of his garages full of Mopar goodness! The black Hemi Dart did it for me!! I'll never forget it.
That was 14 years ago. People change. sometimes for the better, sometimes not so much. I dont know the guy personally. Honestly wanted a data tag for each car that was legit looking based on the options I can deduce each had. Neither was valuable in the grand scheme of things. Both notchbacks. One a 318 car one a slant 6 car. At the very worst, I enquired about tags that would read something like "No build sheet, guess how I was originally equipped" I mean both cars are going to be far different from what their originally assembled fender tag would show anyways. It's not like I would be trying to counterfeit anything. Nope, was a bit of a dick about it. The tags I have now are much much better
