Christmas Presents, Whatcha Get?

-
I have asked for the same thing for well over 10 years from my Two Boys. A hug and a kiss and I didn’t get one this year. And I’m pissed off bad.

Big block guys are trying to compensate...

Funny you should mention that
I just passed by some guy in a half ton truck with a 7 foot blade on it...while driving my one ton, 8 foot 6 V blade...i wondered if he thought the same thing about me

We actually had a white Christmas, the first one in 10 years, and all my kids showed up with the grandkids.
A very great day.

I ordered it through jegs, they had $50 off at the time, the first discount I had seen in a long time[/ QUOTE]
The reason I asked, i bought a topend kit from speedmaster last year during their black friday sale. Late november purchase, recieved early march. I was wondering if it was a "direct from the manufacturers" thing.

Got a cool ring from my wife!

Okay, So I got a little something from John Cope Racing (CRT). I bought a converter from Jegs (Hughes 25-35 3500 stall). We put it in the Dart on Christmas Eve, hard core I know but I just couldn't wait any longer. Couldn't test it though, damned white Christmas LOL

I hate to ask but is that a John Cope 727? I have one from him I got with a car and I’m trying to figure out a fair selling price. Mine has a trans brake, rev manual valve body, Billet drum, etc.

Oh and my wife cleaned my clock LOL. Well she had a guy come in and clean and lube it for me. I bought it from the guy I bought my last house from in 2004 and this is the first cleaning and lube. The guy showed me the date code, this clock is a Ithica model 307 and goes back to August of 1912.

Yes it's one of his Pro Race 727s with a reversed manual valve body (no trans brake). The price was $1900.00. I drove from Pittsburgh to Lowell Indiana to avoid the core and shipping charges.

Damn that is very cool. I’d love to have that in my little library. I don’t mind saying that thing is straight sexy.

Thanks Yellow Rose,
I like old things. Next on my agenda is to repair a 1946 RCA radio that I plan to use in my garage. Its going to be a lot of capacitor replacement.
