Richmond 8 3/4" 742 case 4.30 ratio I.D.

1.750" on the pinion bearing.

1.310" on the yoke

Just under 9" overall pinion length.

8 3/4" ring gear measured on the tooth side.

I never set any up, but I've had many 8 3/4" gear sets over the years and it looks like an 8 3/4". But the numbers don't make sense.

I think they got bought out years ago, but my
last resort will be to Richmond. I don't want to sell till I know all the details.

Then that's a 4.30 ring and pinion for a 742 case. It's marked Richmond, but it has the Dana Spicer diamond logo too. I tried looking it up both ways, but had no luck. It's right by the measurements though.
