What's your favorite beer.
@mopar65 , went to Japan and saw the same vending machines full of Kirin and Sapporo beer in the middle of a street mall as well as Phillipines on base, a laundromat had an old machine full of nothing but 5P (25 cent) San Miguel bottles in all 6 chutes...(but Red Horse was my preference)...It was like they forgot about this one (1987) and the price had not changed in 10 years. And none of this export crap. They had a Domestic San Miguel Dark that was like freaking teriyaki sauce, kinda sweet but kinda salty with a hint of soy sauce? Man I could drink a pitcher and barely make it to the next bar. If I could find a bottle of this recipe here I'd gladly pay $10 for it. Same with Guiness..the stuff here is laughable, on tap or in those stupid cans. I had 2 pints in Hong Kong and I almost fell down when we left the table. Best thing about traveling is drinking the local brews. I like Newcastle but not into the craft brews here, too bitter.
