We need a really smart and motivated guy for this.

Mopar faithful: I've had this idea for a small but important product that the Mopar world has needed for years. All of the vintage Mopars that I've owned over the years have that awful piece of felt on the bumper jack mount that the jack mast rests on. The bracket that the jack rests on is thin sheet metal, but the felt is about 1/2" across, and is always falling off. How about this: Some really smart guy or gal invents a rubber bumper that replaces this crummy piece of felt. The bumper would be soft rubber with a channel in it that would slide down over the jack mounting bracket. This rubber bumper would have a wide flat mounting surface that the jack mast would rest on, and this surface would be angled downward so that the mast rests flat against it when the mast is mounted in the trunk and fastened in place with the jack spring. This permanently eliminates the felt strip that is ALWAYS falling off. Whaddya think?
