Max horsepower with EQ heads?

What people seem to forget when comparing their ported Edelbrock or EQ (gone) heads to the TF, is that you had to send them somewhere to be modified, probably paid $100 shipping both ways and a pile of money to have the work done. That is if you could find a reliable porter that could fit you in this year. You probably still ended up investing close to or much more than the ~$2200 a set TF heads cost. The benefit or unique thing with the T190F is that you can pick up the phone or your computer and in about a week have a set of heads on your doorstep that can hit 300 cfm if your cam can get there. That is not a bad thing, and it is great to see a company supporting Mopar products.
That pretty much describes my situation. I’ve got the original EQ’s, with stock length and size valves w/lift limit of .540” springs etc. No actual real porting, only bowl, seat cleanup and guide boss reduction/teardrop shaping, gasket matched. To go with a much bigger lift cam I would have to buy new valves, springs etc, send out for professional port work and the valve job. Adding it all up I’d be better off getting the TF’s, cleaning up the EQ’s and selling them along with the rockers etc to recover some of the investment. Oh, and I’m also losing about 50 more lbs on the front of my vehicle so that’s what I did
