location for 1968 4 speed reverse light on dash

No my 69 is on right side of column, to left of ashtray. My ashtray "hole" is where I measured from BUT you brought up a good point as 68 had lower dash pads and one on ashtray slide out. My measurements may or may not work.

My 70-71's the light is on the right side of the column. So 68 is on the left side? Todd and I were discussing this because we are changing the 67 and 68 barracudas to 4 speed. The 68 has a lower dash pad. I had 68 4spd darts but don't remember where if they did have one that the light went. Also he told me the 6 barracudas we have don't have a map light switch . two are 4 spds and don't have the light. The 68's have fiber optic key lights.
