Here's a thought, although you probably already have a plan, anbout protecting the refrigerant lines in the wheel well, before you make-up the ends consider slipping some rubber hose over them, or fab up a removable shield of sorts. Some "things' on the road flying up from the tire are pretty sharp and hard. You wouldn't want to not have A/C after all your hard work. The high psi side/liquid line should be insulated anyway. Keep up awesome work. Oh, and I'm sure you'll support those long lines somehow as well, so they don't flop around and stress out connections.
