Speedmaster magnum inspection w/Justin

Bare with me.

Picked up the heads.
Have not flowed them, yet. I took pics, first.
I'm setting myself up so I have a few things I can test 'back-to-back' and not have to test, stop, do work, then go back and test.
I decided to work one port, moderately...but let me explain. The as cast vj on these leaves a ledge around the valve ..and the new one didn't rid that. I sent them for guide resize and had a vj laid while they were there. Some use a chamber cut to sweep around the valve.....i use a stone...they used nothing and apparently didn't care about the ledge...none the less that's gonna flow for **** like that in the pre .400 lift range. So because of that..i know what is gonna happen with an as cast right off the bat.. So to save time... i worked another intake port like i said and i dropped a 15 degree 2.250" stone that i cut a tiny 45/60 just on the outer edge to round it and then un shrouded the intake valve and rid that ledge...then i dropped a stock 1.94 dummy valve in and used the grinder with a tear drop pointed carbide bit to blend the stone cut. Below are pics of the after valve job and then the bowl/ssr blend and stone unshroud and blend.
I will have it on the bench for a 'as cast' test and the follow up of the work I've done tomorrow. Pics are with my phone. Notice the 2 angle and radius on the exhaust, i really like seeing that. The intake is 4 angles and the un shroud radius.
I think it will be night and day between the 2. Guesses welcome.

With that little bit of work, once all throats look at least like that, I would be happy running those on my truck.
Thanks for showing this and keep up the good work.
