Hello From Missouri

I'm Spencer and this 71 Swinger is my first Mopar, I picked it up in late October 2020 for a very reasonable amount and got it roadworthy and road legal once again.

I was somewhat influenced into Mopar's by my boss and good friend of mine and his brother (who I believe is a member here) who has a black 70 Mr. Norm's dart, and my boss is a Roadrunner guy. I really liked the styling of the 67-71 A-bodys and had been looking on and off for about two years, finally came across a good start.

Found this 71 In the middle of Illinois for a very reasonable amount and went with my boss and looked at it, and ended up buying it. /6, 904, 7.25 for the drivetrain, PS and A/C. Was owned by the same person from 1974 until her passing in 2016, along with a red 72 Swinger that they had also purchased new in 72 (also /6 auto). I cannot see any signs of bodywork or paint, so I am confident in saying its wearing its original Y-9 Dark Gold Poly, along with the car came its window sticker, manual, warranty information, and notes from the previous owner denoting any fuel fill ups or service work, including the mileages. It is an honest 102k miles.

Grille appeared and turned out to be in very nice shape.
IMG_20201031_114521433.jpg Does have its share of rust and dings, but very solid for an Illinois car.IMG_20201031_120909371.jpg IMG_20201101_161526049.jpg A partial broadcast sheet under the column, with a complete one under the front seat.

And a 3rd Partial under the carpet, all 4 sheets match each other and match the VIN of the car.

All I have done is put 73-76 discs up front, rebuilt the rear 9" drums, new fuel and brake lines all over, new tank, sender, hoses. Rebuilt the 1920 Holley and fixed some rust spots in the rear frame rail and floor. Regular tune up stuff and Refurbished a set of big bolt rallyes for it.

Luckily most of the questions I have had thus far have been able to be answered by old forum posts, but I know I'll have some new and unique ones in time.
