Rocker Trim & Spear
Hi guys, I have a set of gill and spears for my 68 Barracuda, sorry I know people have different terms for these parts. Rocker trim/mounding/spear... anyway I have a bit of a problem as both spears measure slightly different in length.
1. Does anyone know what they’re supposed to measure?
2. Are they supposed to make contact with the chrome wheel lining?
3. One of them measures 60 1/4 (driver)
The other measures 60 7/8 (passenger)
The driver side comes up short as you can see in the image and the passenger pretty much makes contact at the front (see image).
Thoughts? Advice? Anyone out there have an original pair that could tell me what they’re supposed to measure and post pictures of them on your car so I can see how they mount up front and back passenger and driver side?
