My hose going into pump has been sweating fluid out around the fitting, not real bad, just annoying. My question, is it the fitting and I need a new hose or can I put teflon tape around threads and stop it? One of those winter projects to clean up leaks. :icon_fU:

Are you sure it’s the tubing nut to fitting?
I’ve had the fitting (large nut) leak between that and the housing- copper washer goes bad or crack in sheet metal housing.

Look at the metal flare on the hose (not the nut) for cracks or a poor flare job.

The flare would be my first guess, check to see if it's split. or flared off center.
