Yeah, but in this case it tipped over pulling up 2/3 of the roots and breaking them off. All I want is for the remaining roots to rot enough to break off easily, not trying to break down the stump.
In fact, I want the stump to remain intact so I can pull it out as one big piece and drag it to the curb for pick up.
