Yeah, I had fenderwell headers on mine way back. Easy to install, and easy to remove. Did have a tire clearance problem, though, at least on tight turns. After a couple of years, I replaced the inner fenders and went back to hipo 340 manifolds for a long time, then decided, what the hell, and went for the TTI's. I don't regret it, but I'm glad I don't have to do it again.

TTI's on my 67 Barracuda were EASY. I did them with (at the time) one useless arm (since recovered). And everything fit and everything cleared Ha!
