That towel in the scoop reminds me of an incident one of the dune buggy racing buddies had.
Towed the race buggy to the tech area, gets in to start it up and turns into a flooded mess and head scratching. "It ran yesterday" he says. We fiddled with it briefly then the little light in his head went on. "Ah crap!" and he reaches for a screwdriver and starts disconnecting the remote air filter plumbing from the carb. Yup, right where he left it before he attached the air cleaner, a shop towel in the carb throat. :rofl:
