? for Machinist, stroking a used 360..

Engine in question was machined 20 years ago, 1973 360, received " machine pkg", bored .030 over, torque plate honed, line honed for ARP studs, zero decked for the H116cp hypereutectic pistons. Been running this internally balanced engine for the last 20 years with stock rotating assembly which i think were .010 under, and floating rod pins, engine has about 15,000 miles on it. Very good running, low 12 second street trim. My goal is to be able to drive 75 miles to the track run 11.50 in street trim (drag radials) 3.55 gears, 71 demon, last run of the day turn up the tune and run very low 11's get kicked out and drive home. Plan on a forged 408 SCAT setup, I have a few 340 blocks but figure if this low mile block can be torque plate honed to run the looser specs of a forged piston, notched and just cleaned I'll be in good shape. Plan on using mild ported J heads, my mechanical 6 pack, tti headers that's on it now. stall is 4,400 9", cam is a 525 lift 242/250 comp solid, looking like a somewhat stock SB. What do you think? thanks. IMG_2506.JPG
