Weight loss and perseverance
Well, I set myself back...but for a good reason.
I have afib and after months of data logging, I realized that I had made it worse by dropping my sodium level too low about 6 months ago. Everyone is different with afib triggers, and mine is electrolyte balance.
I increased my sodium a couple of weeks ago by about 400 mg/day and it has significantly reduced the afib. The downside is that I have gained about a pound of water weight.
Disappointing on the scale, but a necessary change.
This will put me behind my goals by a few weeks...but still making progress!
Total health is more important than a date on the calendar to hit a goal.
