67 barracuda trunk lid torsion rods

Could someone please post how the torsion rods

are supposed to fit ....
I have holes in the trunk lid hinge arms (Arrow pointing to hole)...I am wondering if the rods fit in these holes or slide under with a white nylon fitting??

Rod end fits in the hole.

Intresting that the darts use a slide on the spring and it rides under the hinge.

Instead of starting another thread I figured I would add on to this one. Working on our 69 barracuda vert, I'm not quite sure where the plastic trunk sliders go? Did the 2nd gen barracudas even use them?

Torsion rod ends go into the holes in the hinge arms. No sliders are used.

Fastback has coiled springs on the hinges I believe
