I am getting ready to put some fender mountain turn signals on my duster and was wondering if anyone has a template or measurements/dimensions and where they normally go?

The 1970 Duster came with the small chrome style they took two holes, First picture. The 71's came painted and they were one year only on plymouth they took three holes, Second picture. 72 and up were screwed on from the top

I found measurements by searching here but can’t find it again. If I remember correctly it is 6 1/8 from front edge of fender to front edge of signal and 1/2 inch from inside of fender to edge of signal. Do a search and just keep trying until you find it but I think this is correct.

I didn't have any measurements to go by so I laid it out to where it looked the best (by my eyes). I used the rubber gasket to locate the holes. Measure 3 times drill once.

I hope this helps. Don.

I can try to get some pictures off my fenders tomorrow. I have a 70 and both fenders are off the car.

The reason I asked was those turn indicators were only available on Dusters in 1970 and the hood pins were only available on Dusters in 1971. I like the chrome indicators used next to the chrome pins on your car. Nice touch.

Hey Steve. Thanks for the compliments. Ref post #6 (6 1/8" from front edge of fender) would have been too close to the hood pin bezels. Speaking of hood pins, I was fortunate to have the holes in the fender/core support and the hood bracing. Don.

My 72 Demon is like forphorty's reply in #14, has the '70 style indicators.

Here’s rough dimensions on my two fenders. I believe they are both 1970. The red one came from a member in Detroit and the green one is from Lee Robinson on here. Let me know if you need better or more pictures.

It looks like the tape measure moved as I took the picture of the distance from the front of the fender. Hard to do on a curved surface.
