What I found interesting about the ‘92 motor I pulled was that it did not have the timing cover machined for a fuel pump. Others I have seen are machined and have a blockoff plate, like the one mopardude posted. Here’s mine:

I assume it still has a long snout cam, but the timing cover kind of makes me wonder.
Although the motor came out of a ‘92, it has the earlier 89-91 casting number: 53006921. Probably an early model year production ‘92.
