Depressing movies that you only watched once....

-
Cold Mountain. Easily the worst movie I've ever seen, with the potential to have been one of the best. They weather everything together. The Civil War, being apart for years. All of their situations.....finally get reunited and then.......he gets killed. What a stupid *** waste of time. I'm not even a Nicole Kidman fan, but it could have been a great one. Somebody should hang that writer from a water oak. In south Georgia. In the rain.

is there a scene in there where all you see is a car in the mist and then 2 or 3 muzzle flashes?

or am i thinking of the fog?

never could keep the two apart
you got it

Anything made by M. Night Shyamalan...

Oh my GAWD I know you're right. Now I gotta go puke. As the country music commentator Jimmy Carter calls him "Shamalamdingdong" LOL

There are movies that are creepy then there are those that are just depressing.

The Last Emperor
Empire of the Sun
Memento
I'm sure there are plenty others, but I can't think of them this early.

Although they are great movies, I think a lot of the Coen brothers movies are depressing. ie Fargo and No Country for Old Men.

•Brian's Song.
•Terms of Endearment.
•Life is Beautiful (w/ subtitles), was more captivated reading the subtitles.

I quit watching stuff coming out of Hollywood when actors and celebrities starting publicly sharing their political views. Sorry, I will find ways to help my common man rather than contribute to the coffers of the rich child molesters of Hollywood.

Agreed 100%.
I make an effort to watch a movie free, instead of lining their pockets. Most actors today are out of touch.
Biggest disappointments:
•Robert De Niro.
•Tom Hanks.

“Old Yeller” gets me every time.
