1969 Dodge Dart Swinger clean up
Transmission lines cleaned up, removing old paint overspray and other goo.
Fittings reinstalled into the transmission case with PST 592. I put this **** on everything and haven't had a fitting leak in over 25 years on aircraft, cars, oil furnaces....
Transmission lines back into place.
I keep staring at this intake and it's runners and wonder just how street-able this thing is gonna be...
Found this when putting the carb back on. Vacuum port blocker inside the distributor vacuum advance hose. Thought maybe the last mechanic left it there when setting base timing, so I made a call and they "think" the distributor was recurved to run mechanical advance only, without using the vacuum advance. Some pedal mashing in the future will confirm or deny that theory.
Lokar throttle kick down cable reinstalled from engine to transmission and adjusted for proper throw.
Just happened to have the exact length of date code PCV hose left over from doing my Bee restoration. Another 24 bucks into her...
New fuel line installed, with filter in a much better place than the pump inlet.
Tomorrow the task at hand is trying to clean up these neglected TTI headers.
