I use muriatic acid, a little bit, run it and take out the block drain holes and flush the hell out of it then add baking soda to neutralize it then run, flush a bunch more and hope for the best. You might want to back flush the heater core first then take it out during this. Hoses off I maean.

Solder Seal Co. Used to make a very strong two part flush system, all in one can. I used to sell the hell out of it. I still have an old can on display in my Shop. The neutralizer, was in an attached section of the bottom of the can. Want to say the old part number was 2212N. They quit selling it years ago. Probably much like Hoppy's recipe ....
