Looks nice! Will look even better with Mrs. Dartn440 wheelin it down the road! :D:poke: It's just weird how it sat neglected for years, finally moved to Richmond, VA, then to Western NC, then found it's way right back to Fayettenam! :realcrazy:

Mama got to see it today. Would have had her take it out but I was busy tearing down a motor blocking everything when she got there. Sounds like I got a squeaky belt to tighten up. Trying to break ground on a garage. Out of space!!

Happy wife!!

Cleaning up some more. Have a drop in ready 360 done and moved on to this 318. 66 casting date steel crank. Bought it because it had 360 heads I needed somewhere along the line. This motor is pristinely clean.

I wouldn't think it would need a torque strap since it has spool motor mounts? If you've got one of the Schumaker straps laying around though.....it couldn't hurt.

Got one in a box somewhere....in the silver 74 I had I broken a bracket for the PS pump at one point. I’ll have to open the hood and stand over it to figure out which belt is squealing. This has an aftermarket AC unit on it but didn’t make a peep on the run stand so my bets are in the PS pulley. That small block wasn’t nearly as snappy as this one.

Hope everyone is doing well. I dropped off the face of the Earth for a bit. Can’t remember what or where I posted what so I came to this thread as it was the last car I put together. I will be glad when this year is over. Neck surgery in January to fuse C4-C7, had a stroke in the recovery room. Been working at getting right ever since. Drag my right foot occasionally, fatigue in my right arm by the end of the day, small **** is a ***** sometimes. mRI on my arm has one whole muscle group in the upper arm not working. Wife is growing some twins that should be here by the end of the year. Been half-heartedly trying to sell the Demon to fund my business and get ready for retirement….

Dang, Doug. Sounds like you've had a rough year, and I can certainly understand wanting it to be behind you. My year like that was 2018. The Duster looks great! Congrats to you and Mrs. Dartn440 on the twins. Don't y'all have one set already? These two will be what # 8 & 9? :)

JD no twins in the bunch yet, but yes these two will make #8 & 9! She can’t hardly get behind the wheel now and there is so much more growing left to do.
