Looking for a good running 318 or 273 Engine to replace my tired 273
Early 318 preferred but I will entertain any offer.
Im in the Socal area, and Im willing to drive for the right piece.

Keep in mind that you will need to do some mods to get the 318 to work in place of a 273.....mainly crank and engine mount bracket differences. You'll probably have to swap over your oil pan too to keep your steering for hitting the 318 oil pan. A lot will depend on which year you get, and what it came out of. There may be many other things to either swap out, or change completely.
 
Look on Craigslist, San Diego, I think I remember seeing an estate sale with lots of Mopar parts.
 
That sale is over and done with. There weren't any good running small blocks in the sale anyway except for a rebuilt 340 for megabucks.
