Jan 1st 1968. Early build 68 cars manufactured before that didnt have them. Some had the anchors in the roof, some didnt.

Ditto for head restraints. Optional until Jan 1st 1969 then were mandatory.

Rear shoulder belts were offered in 1969 on all dodge and plymouth car lines as options. Pretty rare.

this is very interesting as i am going through this at moment here in new zealand our cars have to be certified if the have any modifcations from stock my car is finished and they want me to weld in anchor points in the roof they all 68 cars had 3point belts my car has no lugs in the roof so must have been an early build could you supply a web site so i can show them this thanks
