I got something called "heat wire" on certain sections of the roof, it warms up enough to prevent the snow from freezing and creating ice dams

If your pipes are exposed, get yourself a few yards of that and wrap it around to thaw them

Never had any major problem till this winter.
I'm selling my mobile in a year or less and if I stay here will build a small cabin off the garage. Or sell the whole thing and build another shop and house inside the shop. Not sure at this point but I don't need a 3 bedroom home unless I end up with the grand kids for a long time.
