1974 Plymouth Duster

Hey, all. This car still has the original factory 318, but the 727 was swapped out for a 904 by the previous owner. Some of the extra add-ons are a Flowmaster 3" exhaust, Edelbrock low-rise intake and a Holley Street Avenger 4 barrel. It also has slotted mags that are in pretty good shape. Original radiator was recored by the previous owner and is in good shape for it's age. Interior is fair. The headliner is coming out in places and the seats are aftermarket, possibly out of a chevy. The rear seat is in good shape and folds down. I believe these were in the "Space Duster" option. Car was running fine a few months ago, but now isn't getting spark. The previous owner was a chevy person and bypassed the ballast resistor. My plan was to put in a new engine wiring harness and column to get things back to normal.

There is some rust around the front fenders near the rockers. One fender is completely eaten up on the bottom and is zip-tied to the frame. I found this when I pulled the fenders to re-seat both doors and to replace the hinge pins and locking cylinders. The car is now completely re-keyed and the doors shut on their own. When I bought it, they were both sagging and not shutting correctly. There is also some rust down near the rear wheel wells and in the trunk pan. The rust in the trunk pan isn't very large, maybe just a few inches in diameter. Everything else is very solid.

Car is a beast when it's running. The engine runs strong and the trans was shifting smooth. The rear end is an 8.25".

Car is in Seattle, WA and will need to be picked up here. The title is clean and in my name.

$6,500.
