Outer holes are 21" center to center....inner are 17 3/8" and the drop is about 1 3/4" at it's widest point. A bit less the way you measured it.

Yea, the overall length of my early A center link is 21 7/8 's. The center link from my 74 Duster is 23 3/4.

mine doesn't have a part # but the guy i got it from swears it came from an early a body v-8 but obviously it's 2" too long.thanks for all the replies

That is a 67-72 center link Inner center to center is about 18 11/16"

confirmed 64-66 should be inner center to center 17 3/8 "

Some cars with Slanty were built with Dropped center link. Have seen them.....
Don't all Early A centerlinks have a drop, whether slant six or V-8? My 1964 slant has a drop, but not as much as for a V-8 so it won't clear a V-8 oil pan. The difference isn't much so hard to judge from photos, use a ruler. I have read that many 1966 slant-six had the larger drop of a V-8 centerlink, probably just to use up parts.

They all have a drop, but the V8 center links have more drop.
