I’m trying to source a bulkhead connector. After searching online, there are many options... Most of which will take over a week to get here. Is there a chain that carries them? I can’t seem to find a place for a local pickup. If anyone here has one and can ship pretty quickly, that’ll work as well. I’m looking for a 8 prong male side. Thank you in advance!

Also... What’s the secret trick to removing the Packard 56 hook terminals?!? They’re such a pain in the *** to remove from the closed connectors.

Male or female side Male I use small needle nose to squeeze it and gently push it past the lock part then you can push it our. Female side like explained above.

What are we working on? Middle one could be different thru the years. Just in case. Does the middle one have locating tit in the middle(same as pic).

It’s a 1973 Dart Sport. I’m not certain if it’s original or not, but it looks identical to the pic as far as I can tell.

My problem is that when I go from accessories to Ignition, I get an amp drop of .3. I’ve replaced all sorts of jacked up fused wiring and at this point I can’t find the issue. I’ve traced the wires and replaced the ones that were bad. No luck finding the issue though. The female connection sides look good as far as I can tell. The only thing I can think of at this point is to replace the connector.

I'm not much help with electrical woes. I'm in midst of redoing our 67 dash harness. You need to get a factory schematic and trace out the problem circuit/wires. Heres a screen shot of our 67 cuda schematic. It looks to share the same style plastic housing connector. I'll get pics of my connector.

Thank you! I appreciate it. I have the factory service manual docs and a Haynes manual. I’ve gone through the paths and replaced all the wiring that was faulty and replaced every wire associated with the middle connector. When I remove the green field wire though at the alternator that goes to the Voltage Regulator, the amp drop goes away. I replaced both the blue and green wires to the alternator, the connector that houses the blue and green wires to the regulator, the voltage regulator and the alternator. Like you said though, I need to go back to square one and retrace the wiring.

I found one, plus I have 8 new male connectors if needed? Sorry not enough female "spares" to sell, but can get you part #. Connector looks solid, I havent clipped it yet.
