Parking Brake Cable Vs. Driveshaft Vs. Exhaust

This '65 Formula "S" uses the 2.5 inch TTI custom fitted exhaust with stock exhaust manifolds. The instructions suggested cutting off one of the parking brake cable brackets on the floor pan on the passenger side (but I could not find this stated on TTI's current website). I can see the shop that installed the exhaust did not cut off any brackets, but one of them on the passenger side appears to be smashed up closer to the floor pan (photo #1) than the bracket on the driver's side (photo #2).

The problem I see before re-installing the exhaust system is the cable rubbing on the driveshaft (photo #3). I don't know if that is a result of raising the rear suspension too high with the extra leaves that were added to the rear suspension or some other factor here. Maybe the installed exhaust system will pull the cable to a less vulnerable area (can't remember how it looked before disassembly three years ago).
