Hello borgeson owners. I bought the full kit from borgeson for my 1969 dodge dart. Problem is that when steering wheel is in center while driving (and idle) it is hard to turn left a quarter turn, then it becomes easy. To the right it is easy to turn all the way.

Not sure what to do, have anyone had this problem?

You may want to initially check for any interference underneath, ie; rub marks.

That is what it feels like, something is stiff at one part of the turning. i thought it was a bad steering joint.

It's possible something is wrong with the box. If the joint was bad, the symptom would be in both directions. I had one like this recently.

Update, i received a mail back from borgeson suggesting that the box may not be in center. The steering box has a high tight center by design, will be checking this next.

So if anyone is still watching this thread i still haven't figured the box out.. from full left to full right i can feel a ''hard part'' several times. And its still easier to turn right than left..

Can you post or text pictures of your coupler/shaft/box from under the hood?

Solved!
Had help looking at the linkage while i turned the wheel, turns out the steering column was bent by the coupler making the hard part!
