73 Dart Swinger (318-904-7.25) running 245/60R14's.
When I bought the car a few years ago air shocks were already installed and I'm looking to get rid of them. I've heard some people are using SS springs etc. The wheels are Crager, no issues with backspacing or clearance.

Are there any recommendations for rear leaf springs without using airshocks?

2 1/2 inch lift is a lot. Won't look too good. Do your wheels, or tires require the back being lifted? I run 245/60/15 on my Dart with no issues. Stock shocks, and springs.

Hi Furyus2, I agree it's some lift. 1973 Dodge Dart | Classic Cars for Sale - Streetside Classics Here's a pic of the car.
I adjusted the torsion bars a little and it sits more level now; the clearance seems fine. I've not ran that size tire on an A body before other than my 75 sport and with the same size tire and No air shocks there's no issues at all. Not a whole lot of space in the Swinger wheel wells. The 2.5 in lift would set it about right where it is now by my rudimentary calculation. I suppose I can deflate the shocks and just verify there's no rub and go from there but I assumed they were put on for clearance..

I'm not a fan of airshocks, to each their own but would like a much better ride. :)

If the 2 1/2" lift is too much once the springs are installed, get a pair of reversed front hangers. We did this on a 72 Duster & it sits just right now.
